1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using GrantMatchr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Service

GrantMatchr is an AI-powered platform that helps UK businesses discover and match with relevant grant funding opportunities. Our services include:

• Business plan analysis and upload functionality
• AI-powered grant matching and recommendations
• Funding Readiness Score assessment
• Business plan improvement suggestions
• Access to a database of UK grants
• Community features for user engagement

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You may register using your email address or through Google OAuth. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

4. Subscription Plans and Pricing

4.1 Free Tier

The Free tier includes limited access to grant matching (5 matches per month), basic matching features, and access to the grant database.

4.2 Pro Tier

The Pro tier is available at £29/month or £290/year and includes unlimited grant matches, advanced filtering, email alerts, detailed Funding Readiness Score, compatibility scoring, deadline tracking, and dashboard analytics.

4.3 Enterprise Tier

The Enterprise tier offers custom pricing with API access, dedicated support, custom integrations, unlimited users and teams, a dedicated account manager, and SLA guarantees. Contact us for pricing details.

4.4 Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly set forth in our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Scrape or collect data from the Service without permission
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users through community features
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the business plans, documents, and content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process, analyse, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6.2 Our Content

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and branding, is owned by GrantMatchr and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

6.3 AI-Generated Content

Grant matching results, improvement suggestions, and other AI-generated content are provided as recommendations only. You may use this content for your personal and business purposes, but we make no claims regarding ownership of AI-generated outputs.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

7.1 No Guarantee of Funding

GrantMatchr provides information and recommendations about grant opportunities. We do NOT guarantee that you will receive any grant funding. Grant approval decisions are made solely by the grant providers, and we have no control over their decisions.

7.2 Informational Purposes Only

The Service is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional financial, legal, or business advice. We recommend consulting with qualified professionals before making business decisions based on our recommendations.

7.3 Grant Information Accuracy

While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date grant information, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of all grant details. Users should verify grant information directly with the grant providers before applying.

7.4 Service Availability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRANTMATCHR AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Loss of data or business interruption
• Failure to secure grant funding
• Reliance on grant information or recommendations
• Any damages arising from your use of the Service

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Community Guidelines

When using community features, you agree to:

• Be respectful and constructive in all interactions
• Not post spam, promotional content, or advertisements
• Not share confidential or proprietary information of others
• Keep posts relevant to grant funding and business topics
• Report any violations or inappropriate content

Posts are limited to 2,000 characters. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GrantMatchr and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you upload or submit to the Service

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Severability
